While many blockchain projects prioritize maximal decentralization, Eclipse focuses on achieving the highest possible transaction throughput by adopting a more centralized sequencer set. This trade-off allows Eclipse to deliver the performance needed for mainstream-scale applications while still maintaining sufficient decentralization to ensure security and transparency.
