Amberdata was proud to sponsor DigiAssets 2023 at the QEII in London on May 24-25. We're super excited to have attended and sponsored Europe’s biggest institutional digital assets event of the year!
Shawn Douglass, Co-Founder and CEO of Amberdata, and Tongtong Gong, Co-Founder and COO represented Amberdata and were joined by Fayza Kartit, Growth & Relationship management EMEA, Ushma Parmar, Senior Enterprise Account Executive - EMEA, and Izzie Henderson, Product Marketing Manager.
On May 24th, Tongong Gong participated in the Trading Infrastructure Panel. The panel discussed how to implement the right technology frameworks, operational processes, and partnerships to support the trading, clearing, and settlement of digital assets. She was joined by Blue Macellari, Head of Digital Assets Strategy, T. Rowe Price, Krzysztof Wierzchows, Vice President, Securities Services, Franklin Templeton, Jean-Marc Bonnefous, Managing Partner, Tellurian Capital Management and Simon Barnby, Chief Marketing Officer, Archax. The panel was moderated by Justina Lee, Cross-asset Reporter, Bloomberg.
That evening, Amberdata, LMAX, and Deribit jointly hosted a cocktail event at the Somerset House Terrace Bar. The event drew close to 300 attendees.
On May 25th, Shawn Douglass was interviewed on stage by Anna Irrera, Senior Editor, Bloomberg News. They dove into how to access, store, and analyze digital asset data to build a clear market view to inform institutional trading strategies.
Overall - there was much institutional enthusiasm for both the current and future opportunities in the asset class. It was great to see regulators from around the world talking about the path forward and to hear how European asset managers are leveraging crypto now and their plans for the future.
