Amberdata and Infotrend partner to provide the SEC with the full suite of Amberdata’s offerings across market data, blockchain data, and decentralized finance (DeFi) data.

Miami, FL - October 10, 2023

Amberdata, the leader in digital asset data and analytics for institutional customers, today announces it has partnered on a new contract awarded to Infotrend, Inc. by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In support of this 3 year order, Infotrend will provide blockchain and digital assets data, along with advanced analytics covering a broad spectrum of the digital assets ecosystem. To expand the project’s data coverage, Amberdata and Infotrend have partnered to equip the SEC with the full suite of Amberdata’s offerings across market data, blockchain data, and decentralized finance (DeFi) data.

Amberdata provides institutional-grade data infrastructure for the digital asset class. The Amberdata platform delivers comprehensive historical and real-time on-chain, DeFi, and market data, eliminating the need to source and integrate data from multiple vendors. Amberdata’s datasets and analytics tools provide actionable insights into blockchain networks, crypto markets, and decentralized finance, empowering financial institutions with actionable information for research, trading, risk, analytics, reporting, and compliance.

Infotrend offers comprehensive solution architecture expertise encompassing aspects ranging from business requirements analysis to infrastructure design, crypto-native data analysis and visualization, along with high-efficiency system and storage assessments and secure, scalable solution deployments.  The project includes the creation of logical and physical data models, development of data dictionaries and catalogs, establishment of an ETL framework, formulation of testing protocols, training methodologies, and strategic communication approaches tailored to the Commission’s needs.

“Amberdata is thrilled to partner with Infotrend to deliver our comprehensive digital asset data, insights and analytics to the Commission,” said Shawn Douglass, CEO, Amberdata, “We look forward to growing our partnership as demand for granular, accurate and timely digital asset data grows in Infotrend’s Federal clientele.”

“It is an honor to continue our partnership with the SEC as we empower the Commission with insightful lenses into the digital assets ecosystem to support its mission objectives: to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation,” said Gurpreet Singh, CEO of Infotrend.   “It is exciting to partner with a market leader like Amberdata to deliver trusted digital assets and blockchain data leveraging Infotrend’s innovative technical resources and domain expertise.”
